Presented in both English and Spanish versions in separate sections, this work is built around interviews between Toru簽o-Haensly (Spanish, U. of Texas) and five Hispanic-American authors, supplemented with biographical notes, bibliographical information, and short excerpts of the authors' writings. It is intended to promote an appreciation of the literary work of the Hispanic authors selected and encouragement to young people in general.
