Rock history is made right in front of the lensa new, smaller format edition includes an interview with, and foreword by, Iggy himself
"Mick Rock is one crazy photographer. This is the shit." Iggy Pop
When the Godfather of Punk met the Godfather of Rock Photography in 1972, the event spawned a series of photos of unique impact. Iggy and the Stooges had come to London in the summer
of 1972 to record their seminal punk masterpiece Raw Power with David Bowie as executive producer, and Mick Rock was on hand to shoot the cover. The uncompromising images that
emerged from that one unforgettable session at London's Scala Theater have now passed into rock history and are presented here in all of their gritty glory. More than 30
years later this superb collection of more than 200 of those photographs contains an interview with the subject conducted by the photographer in 1972.
