Mozart: Six Viennese Sonatinas

The pieces that comprise the individual movements of the sonatinas were orginally composed as short serenades for a trio of basset horns. Shortly after Mozart's death, the 25 pieces were arranged into five multi-movement Divertimenti. These sonatinas, despite their humble purposes of soothing entertainment and the instruction of advanced intermediate sutdents, bear the unmistable stamp of their composer.
