"The Goons" included Spike Milligan, Peter Sellers and Harry Secombe. They burst onto the radio with surreal storylines, absurd logic, puns, catchphrases and ground breaking sound effects. This title includes four episodes from the earliest existing series: "A History of Communications/The Siege of Khartoum"; "The Kippered Herring Gang"; "The Toothpaste Expedition"; and "The Case of the Vanishing Room."
