Runaway Alphabet

Nan is excited; the winter carnival is packed with fun things to do: skating, tubing, tobogganing. She wants to take part in it all! As she races around the carnival, with Pa trying to catch up, she encounters all the sounds of the alphabet like the sss of sliding down the snow and the p-p-p of the popcorn maker. Some alphabet books highlight the names of the letters. Others suggest lists of words that begin with a particular sound. This unique alphabet book does something completely different.
