The Orphan Rescue

It is springtime 1937 in the small city of Sosnowiec, Poland. Twelve-year-old Miriam and her young brother, David, are orphans who live with their grandparents. Miriam is devastated to learn that her grandparents can no longer support them and David must go to an orphanage. She decides to rescue him, so that they might become a family again. When Miriam learns that David is being forced to work in a factory, she realizes that rescuing him will not be as easy as she thought.
