Pop Star, a novel and surprisingly fast-paced, written by two women who are very familiar with the intricacies of Hollywood, is a thrilling journey through the treacherous world of pop culture. The main attraction of this novel is that one of its authors is the former makeup artist Britney Spears. The novel, written as a duet with a writer and journalist, is obviously quite autobiographical, and reveals the back room of the world of American popular singers.
