Partly due to technological developments, international trade in services has been steadily growing. However, trade in services is more difficult, both to negotiate agreements and implement the
necessary internal policy changes, than it is for the importation and exportation of goods. Intended mostly for developing nations, this is a practical guide for negotiators and policy makers
working towards liberalization while developing useful regulatory approaches appropriate for various sectors of the economy. It was prepared by the International Trade Department of the World
Bank's Poverty Reduction and Economic Management Network. Annotation 穢2010 Book News, Inc., Portland, OR (booknews.com)
