William in America

In 1935, a few small groups of unaccompanied Jewish children were sent to the United States from Germany. WILLIAM IN AMERICA is a middle grade novel based on that true event, and follows the story of one boy's coming to terms with a new family in a distant land, and his anguish over unanswered letters from his parents.
