Claude Monet (French, 1840-1926) spent years creating a symphony of hues and textures in the flowers and foliage that surrounded his home in Giverny.
Photographer and horticultural designer Elizabeth Murray fell in love with the artist s cherished gardens in 1984, helped in the restoration efforts, and has been studying the garden with her photographer's eye ever since, capturing the changing nuances of light and color that glimmer on its petals and pond. Each of the fifty-three photographs presented here is accompanied by a description and a quotation from Monet or one of his contemporaries. The calendar includes an introduction; fifty-seven weekly grids and thirteen full-page monthly grids; double-page spreads of 2011 and 2012 yearly grids; a list of international holidays; a world time zone map; a 2012 year planner with US, UK, and Canadian holidays; pages for notes; and a page for personal information.
Size: 6.125 x 8.25 in. 120 pages with soft cover and metal comb binding in an attractive lightweight slipcase. Printed on FSC certified paper with soy-based ink.
