On Folly Beach

Janie Hamilton is a widow at age twenty-nine, having lost her husband in Afghanistan. Mired in grief, she's unable to move on until she comes across hidden love notes in a box of books purchased from the store Folly's Finds. Intrigued by what appears to be a clandestine love affair from the 1940's, Janie is prompted to move to Folly Beach, South Carolina, where she purchases the local bookstore. There she finds more love notes between the unidentified couple and begins to try and dissect their story. Slowly, details about their past begin to emerge, and the secrets uncovered could have a devastating impact on the present.
