　　Cosmic Debris, the company that created Emily the Strange, began with Emily drawings in 1992 in Santa Cruz, and they were a hit with the local skateboarding crowd before taking over the west coast of America. This group continues to create characters on the cutting edge, and their products generate a significant hip fan base.
