　　美國和新英格蘭歷史的博士研究生，同時也是在薩林女巫大審中逃過死劫的伊麗莎白．普克特，以及遭絞刑處死的伊麗莎白．霍歐的後裔。作者是在準備博士資格考，帶著自家小狗漫步於馬爾布岬和薩林之間的樹林時，有了撰寫第一本書的靈感。目前與丈夫居住在麻薩諸塞州。(《遺失的薩林魔法書》中文版由大塊出版)
