Willard Stone

The work of Cherokee woodcarver Stone (1916-85) is shown in lavish color photographs and analyzed by curators at the Museum Randy Ramer and Carole Klein, Stone's grandson Regan Hansen, and art scholar Kimberly Roblin. His works were the first holdings in the Tulsa, Oklahoma museum founded by Creek oilman Thomas Gilcrease, which is now home to the world's largest collection art and artifacts of The American West.
