Mitra and Shiva, two adorbale white tiger babies, were born during Hurricane Hannah. When their sanctuary flooded, their mother became stressed and possibly dangerous. The cubs were placed in
the care of China York and her chimpanzee companion, two-year-old Anjana, at The Institute of Greatly Endangered and Rare Species (TIGERS) in South Carolina. Anjana has helped China raise and
nurture the cubs by giving them bottles, laying with them while they sleep, and playing. The threesome have become inseperable from each other, just like best friends.
