The Sleepwalkers’ Ball

This beautifully surreal romantic comedy is set in a dour Scottish fortress city. Wrapped around the forms of the silent film and the Gothic city ghost tour, it is a cross between Kafka and Mary Poppins. Filmic, funny and lyrical in turns, and always moving, it follows two lives: a man and a woman, and their many attempts to hook up together.
