Nothing ever happens in Eudora and that’s the way this small town, surrounded by oil, wheat, and cattle, likes it—Eudorans are allergic to innovation. But when a former resident publishes a novel with characters based on a number of townspeople, it prompts an unforeseen interest in contemporary literature. Suddenly, there are a whole lot of new ideas in town—not all of them good.
