Corning Museum of Glass curator Oldknow presents a survey of glass sculptures and panels dating from the late 1950s to 2007 from the museum's collection, following an overview of trends in the
artistic use of this unique material. Art featured in 81 color plates ranges from abstract disks by Czech artist V獺clav Cigler to a realistic still life by Flora C. Mace and Joey Kirkpatrick of
Seattle. Representative of Dale Chihuly's work is The Corning Wall (with James Carpenter, 1974). The volume includes artists' biographies and an artist index. Published by the Corning Museum of
