Moving People in Ethiopia: Development, Displacement & the State

The recent history of conflict in the Horn of Africa has led to large-scale population movements of refugees, returnees, internally displaced groups and demobilised soldiers; drought and food insecurity have led to state-led resettlement programmes. This book is the first to bring together studies of these different types of displacement in Ethiopia and analyse them in relation to each other.
