Two Old Potatoes and Me

When her father suggests that they plant the old potatoes instead of throwing them away, a young girl is excited about the idea and gets involved in the process of watching them grow throughout the summer; coming to the realization that good things can come out of what appears to be bad, in a story that is a metaphor for divorce.
