The images in this calendar showcase nationally recognized and award winning photography by Marek Wencel, a Seattle based climber and photographer. Each picture has a caption describing the image or has an excerpt from Mountaineer’s Journal,, giving the viewer ann unparalleled look at climbing adventures and mountain facts. Images represent years of the photographer’s climbing in the mountains on three continents, mainly Peruvian Andes, Nepal's and Tibetan Himalaya and the United States’ Cascades.
