Liz and Lloyd Horn's collection of artwork--of which about 200 pieces are displayed here on full page color plates--is an impressive representation of the contemporary artists of Western
Australia, where they both grew up and live. Diverse in medium, theme, and style, the works from members of the East Bloc group of artists and others tend to be representative, portraying
modern objects and scenes with an idiosyncratic spirit and an eye toward the beauty to be found in the bizarre or grotesque. Artists featured include Russell Sheridan, Hans Arkeveld, Simon
Gilby, Merrick Belyea, Akio Makigawa, and Stuart Elliott, who authored the introduction, among many others. An interview with the collectors is also included. Oversize: 9x11". Distributed in
