When Henry Tyder, an alcoholic, sometimes homeless member of a socially prominent Philadelphia family, is arrested at the scene of the most recent murder attributed to a serial killer known as the Plate Glass Killer, who has been terrorizing the city of brotherly love, his attorney asks Gregor Demarkian, former head of the FBI's BSU, to look into the case.
