Harold the Hero

A lighthearted and whimsically illustrated tale about adjusting to the birth of siblings, this book introduces Harold, a boy who has perfect manners, uses big words, and loves going out for tea and crumpets at the gorgeous Empress Hotel in Victoria, British Columbia. Despite being a confident man-about-town, Harold is unprepared for a truly unpleasant disruption in his life: the birth of twin sisters. Harold's dismay is at times funny as it offers the gentle lessons that even a perfect child can feel upstaged and angry with a new baby at home, but that child always finds an important new role in the family.
