Estela

Detailed illustrations of both the ocean and outer space combine with unique characters in this story that teaches youngsters the importance of finding their place in the world. Stella is a wishing star, and every time someone makes a wish, she flickers with happiness. But one day a rain of stars drags her down to earth, all the way to the deep, dark waters of the ocean. Once there, she gradually begins to lose her light because nobody wishes on her anymore—until she meets the fish-ogre that lives in the depths.
