This project is a collection of artist and photographer Rita Hammond's (1922-1999) photographs of longtime friend and artistic collaborator Lynn Moser. The first assemblage of photos is a study
of the model taken in 1967 when Moser was twenty-years-old and commissioned Hammond to take her portrait as a gift for her parents. The second session was shot twenty years later and serves as
a statement on the effects of time, not only on the subject but on the artist's point of view. Images were primarily selected and scanned from black and white silver gelatin prints in the Rita
Hammond Archive. No text is included outside of artists' statements, a biography, and a brief editor's note. Annotation 穢2009 Book News, Inc., Portland, OR (booknews.com)
