Reproduced in b&w and color plates of high quality, the drawings embody the beauty and precision of 19th-century French draftsmanship. The captions that accompany the plates, added by Yasmeen Siddique, detail the architectural feature or monument depicted. The volume includes a list of plates, but is not indexed.
