The conference was perhaps considered by many to be a mere spillover of papers that could not be fit into the 2006 first conference, but the profession and industry of green architecture is
evolving so quickly that the two intervening years generated a whole new set of approaches and examples. The 33 papers cover ecological and cultural sensitivity, designing with nature, resource
conservation and building technology, passive systems, case studies, and rehabilitation and adaptive re-use. There is no subject index. The US office of WIT Press is Computational Mechanics.
