Gunter Rambow: Plakate Posters

Gunter Rambow (b. 1938) is one of the most prominent designers in the area of visual communication and cultural advertising in Germany. He produced numerous photo books and outstanding posters. In 2007, the Museum fur Angewandte Kunst Frankfurt dedicated a major solo exhibition to his work. The show is an encounter between more than one hundred posters by Gunter Rambow - dating from 1962 to the present - and Richard Meier’s architecture. The publication appearing in conjunction with this exhibition documents the dialog between Rambow’s poster art and Meier’s museum building.
