Twinkle didn't know which was worse--having her apartment building explode, getting fired from her perfect job, or being threatened by one of the most powerful men in Colorado--all within twenty-four hours. Her life flipped from the mundane to the extraordinary when she grudgingly became the sidekick to a homeless neighbor bent on rescuing Colorado from an evil political candidate. Now, all Twinkle wants is her life back. Yet returning to a normal life won't be so easy. She must avoid the vicious cannibalistic thugs who seem to be overpowering the city, get her crazy friend to a probably imaginary sister, pay back the man she left but maybe still loves, work with a man that she may be falling in love with, and cooperate with a woman she can't stand. But will she be able to endure her forced plunge into Boulder's hippie subculture and the trust fund artistes of Chatfield Reservoir?
