Dances from Around the World: Seven Solos In National Style: Early Intermediate/Intermediate Level

Each of the seven solos is a dance written in a specific "nationalistic" Romantic style. Tsitsaros' lyrical talent and superb compositional skills are especially on display in Siciliana, a piece conceived in the cantabile Italian style, and Waltz, which features a haunting melody inspired by Tchaikovsky's lyrical style. Other titles include Menuet Pastoral, Norwegian Dance, Little Mazurka, Gypsy Dance, and Cossack Dance.
