Memory Traces

The author goes back to a period of war (World War II).�n Austria, as an American soldier fighting against the Germans, the main character, Roni, reencounters Marcus, a boy who he had helped as a child, but who now is a soldier of the German army, now, brought together as enemies. In the battlefield, they meet face to face, at gunpoint. Did they recognize each other?
