At just under six feet tall, David Fromm was not an extraordinarily talented basketball player. But his desire to play could not be denied. So, he made an unusual decision: he put aside law
school and went to play basketball in a foreign country instead. Fromm moved to Prague hoping to find a club team that he’d played against on a previous trip and find his way onto the lineup.
As he goes about making his dreams come true, he must learn everyday Czech phrases like, “Don’t shoot, I’m Canadian,” and re-learn the sport he’s played all his life.
