SUPERANNO A novel set in North Georgia in the early 1940s, in which a local criminal works his way into the lives of a rural family. A domineering father clashes with a spiritual mother in the raising of nine children. The children grow up and leave home: one becomes involved in the moonshine business; another marries a man involved in a gambling scheme. Another tries to make peace in the turmoil that develops. Book was inspired by actual event, which many people may recall.
