Interstellar courier Jak Rebo sets out to make good on a promise to a dead man to deliver an AI known as Logos to a mysterious, remote planet in order to restore a damaged system of star gates, only to find himself caught in the middle of a battle between the Techno Society and a vicious group of antitechnics.
