This series is one of the few that has practical applications by practicing proofreading and editing marks to master the revision process. Each section has actual text that has to be edited for mistakes. There are also authentic writing opportunities to create a writing sample and to edit it in a peer group situation. These books are specifically geared to the middle school student. The selections are exciting and varied.
