When the cousin of L.A. crime boss Hugo Poole is found shot to death, the man's missing girlfriend, Tanya Starling, becomes the prime suspect, but as Portland homicide detective Catherine Hobbes investigates the crime, she discovers that her search has become complicated by the parallel probe of P.I.
