The Romantics and the British Landscape

An illustrated book that looks at how the English Romantic poets drew on the British landscape as an inspiration for their life and work and how, in turn, Romantic literature altered our perception of, and appreciation for, that landscape. This book focusses on five poets and draws upon the work of their literary contemporaries.
