Using the characteristics of various breeds of dogs to describe herself and the people around her, sixteen-year-old Natalie does her best to be obedient to the rules of her house, but when she suddenly falls for a free-spirited, mystery man, Natalie's entire world is thrown for a loop and her evaluation of herself is immediately altered.
