The second and concluding volume of the catalogue raisonnT of Vasily Kandinsky's watercolors and gouaches catalogs more than 800 works from the Bauhaus period (1922-1933) and the artist's last
years in Paris (1934-1944), arranged in chronological order. It also includes eight recently discovered watercolors painted in Russia which appeared after completion of the first volume. As in
the first volume (Cornell U. Press, 1992), Barnett discusses title, date, iconography, and history of individual works in concise commentaries and provides complete provenance, exhibition
history, and reference for each entry. The book concludes with a comprehensive list of one-man and group exhibitions and a selective bibliography. Includes 168 color illustrations and 816
