Lucy lives inside a horse while she reads Italo Calvino. But how did such a marvelous thing like that happen? It's very simple: Felisberto Hernández, the horse who was grazing at the banks of the river, ate the recently bathed girl as she read about a man who spent his whole life up in a tree. Felisberto also ate the book, of course, and Lucy kept on reading as if nothing out of the ordinary happened.
