Twenty-two contributions from European and North American scholars examine how concordance technology and the detailed linguistic evidence available in corpora may be used to enhance the study
of discourse. Particular attention is paid to interrogating specialized corpora and to devising techniques to discover what is going on between speakers and between authors and readers in
particular varieties of the language. The papers were originally presented at CamConf 2002, held at the U. of Camerino in Italy. Annotation 穢2004 Book News, Inc., Portland, OR (booknews.com)
