'Return / Yn Ol' is the result of a succession of visits Rhodri Jones has made to his native Wales over the last two years to photograph the country he left twenty-five years earlier. He
documents the changes in his country and those things that have endured in a series of provocative and intriguing duotone photographs, exquisitely composed through the camera lens and
carefully positioned in relation to each other. Many of the images are taken in panaramic format, which lends an exotic quality to their subject matter and makes this one of the most
remarkable collections of images of Wales ever published. The book also includess a sharply preceptive Introduction by Gwyneth Lewis, Wales' National Poet.
