Symphony in C in Full Score

Unearthed from the archives of the Paris Conservatory nearly 80 years after its composition, Bizet's lively and youthful Symphony in C is one of the newest and most welcome additions to the orchestral repertoire. Written by a 17-year-old student, the elegant orchestrations and balanced classical forms foreshadow the composer's most famous work, the opera Carmen.
