Bobbin Girls

A lakeland saga in which a young woman yearns only to spend the rest of her life with her childhood friend, the son of a wealthy landowner, but he has other ideas and forces the two apart. The young woman ends up working in a mill, where her affections are torn between her childhood friend and the mill owner's son.
