Lighting the Site

Both the functional and expressive capacities possessed by light are covered in this study of the application of artificial light in architecture. Making clear the importance of light to contemporary architectural design, particular attention is given to how light becomes part of a design and affects the design in different ways according to the light's intensity, source, color, and form.
