Shadow of the Lords

In the sequel to Demon of the Air, Yaotl, the Chief Minister's slave, is on the run from his vengeful master, the powerful Lord Feathered-in Black, as he searches for his missing son, but his quest is complicated by his discovery of a dismembered corpse and of a conspiracy among members of the ancient, secretive society of feather workers, in a mystery set in sixteenth-century Aztec Mexico.
