The Robert Fountain Legacy Project began in 2000 when the Mills Music Library at the University of Wisconsin–Madison embarked on digitizing the recorded archives of the distinguished choral
conductor Robert Fountain. The collection of 350 concert recordings documents the history of choral music at the university.
