作者簡介

Lauren Weisberger

　　1977年3月28日生於賓夕法尼亞州的史柯拉頓。十一歲時父母離異，母親帶著她與妹妹黛娜移居艾倫鎮。1995年，她自艾倫鎮的帕克蘭高中畢業。1999年，主修英文的她自康乃爾大學畢業。目前定居於紐約市。

　　她的第一本小說《穿著PRADA的惡魔》雄踞《紐約時報》精裝版小說排行榜六個月之久，如今已在三十個國家出版發行。並已改編成同名電影，於2006年上映。

　　她擅長將時尚的元素融入筆調之中，總是以諷刺而不刻薄、風趣而不流俗的方式將都市裡菁英分子的生活描寫得淋漓盡致。她的小說彷彿是普羅大眾得以窺探上流社會的萬花筒。
