Thirst

Dominique Olivet has come home to practice law in sultry Key West, an island of close-knit natives, Catholicism, and an enduring belief in brujas, the Latino witches. Appointed to represent a medical student accused of murder, she finds herself pitted against a psychopath with a thirst for human blood. He will lead her into the darkest recesses of the mind, or perhaps, into a reality too frightening to acknowledge.
